There is a new community event starting on Call of Duty WW2 tomorrow December 8th called Winter Siege.  Winter Siege brings us a snow covered Carentan which was previously only available to season pass owners.  The game mode Headquarters is getting a seasonal revamp too, with a visiting quartermaster along with new Supply Drops full of fresh cold-weather gear.  Winter Siege supply drops will contain new weapons, emotes, calling cards, helmets plus many more and players will get free drops weekly, and extra free drops if they're Twitch Prime members.

Also returning to Call of Duty is the Gun game a mode that cycles players through different weapons based on their kills, making for a little more variety both in what you're killing with and being killed by.   There will also be a number of bug fixes according to a post on their website including the current exploit regarding prestige.

  • Fixed Scorestreak Training exploits
  • Fixed Prestige exploits
  • Added Mute All in option in HQ
  • (+ much more...)

  • Ranked Play UI issues with tracking wins and losses
  • General connectivity issues finding Ranked Play matches
  • Ranked Play counting towards global stats
  • (+ more...)

  • Issue where players lost all XP upon leaving match
  • Issue where players were unable to open supply drops after Prestiging
  • (+ more...)
